The bill includes none other than, Childish Gambinoblink-182, and the music’s newly crowned country princess, Kacey Musgraves. In its 11th year, the festival returns to San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park to bring musicians and music lovers from far and wide back together for a weekend of performances, food, and cannabis. Year after year, 200,000+ people from across the country come together to enjoy a celebration of the arts, and now have another reason to check this festival off of their bucket-lists.

Introducing, Gastromagic and Grass Lands, Outside Lands has curated a sensory experience dedicating stages to entertainment beyond the music. Starting in 2014, the festival bridged the gap between California’s best artistry in food and music. Celebrating the universal foundation of unity, Gastromagic was introduced, intertwining the two worlds together. The stage features collaborations between some of the finests artists from center stage to behind the cutting board. With appearances from Matty Matheson, Chef Melissa King (Top Chef), Portugal The Man, and even Bill Nye – the stage has worked its way into the festival’s annual lineup.

Subsequent to the success of Gastromagic, Grass Lands was pioneered and introduced to the grounds in 2018. Not long after the legalization of recreational marijuana in the event’s home-state, Outside Lands made history producing the first cannabis centered spectacle at a major music festival.  To put it short, Outside Lands co-producer Rick Farman states, “Much the way that Wine Lands celebrates Napa and Sonoma as the leaders in U.S. wine production, Grass Lands will shine a light on the area’s importance as pioneers in the cannabis world.”
