The “Pumpkins United World Tour” hit the Hollywood Palladium on Saturday night, September 8, 2018, as Germany’s power metal band Helloween blazed in for a night of 1980s metal. Tonight there were no opening bands, just a long set from Helloween which started off the night with “Halloween” and “Dr. Stein.” The metal fans were headbanging without hesitation. The Los Angeles fans welcomed them back while singing along to all their classic songs. I had never seen the band live before, but they definitely have their following. Not only that, this night brought back former vocalist Michael Kiske and guitarist Kai Hansen. A truly classic night of 80s metal.
Helloween’s setlist below:
Halloween | Dr. Stein | I’m Alive | If I Could Fly | Are You Metal? | Rise & Fall | Gentleman | Medley | Tale | Pumpkins United | Living/Little Time | Thunder | Sole Survivor | Power | How Many Tears | Eagle | Keeper | Future World I Want Out
If you haven’t had a chance to see them, I highly recommend them, see their tour schedule below.
