PREVIEW ON VANS WARPED TOUR 2017

The Vans Warped Tour is a traveling rock festival that has toured the United States annually each summer since 1995. It is the largest traveling music festival in the United States, and is the longest-running touring music festival in North America, will kick off the 2017 season on June 16th in Seattle, Washington.  The national festival will travel to 41 cities, coast-to-coast over a two-month stretch, closing out the 2017 festival in Pomona, California on August 6th.

Founded by Kevin Lyman in 1995 with the goal of bringing skaters and punk rock music together, Vans Warped Tour has morphed over the years to keep up with the ever-changing diverse genres–pop-punk, street punk, ska-punk, metal-core, emo-pop, melodic hardcore, EDM, rap and hip-hop. Known for catapulting bands into the spotlight, Warped Tour is the stepping-stone for bands to share their sound with thousands of die-hard rock and punk rock enthusiasts.

Sponsored by Vans and Journeys, this year’s summer celebration will feature over 90 artists performing on seven stages giving live music lovers an ample opportunity to see all of their favorite bands in one day. This year’s run will appeal especially to metal heads with a whole slew of heavier acts showcased in the Warped Tour lineup such as I Prevail, Memphis May Fire, Hatebreed, Barb Wire Dolls, Anti-Flag, Doll Skin and many more.
