The Wallows kicked off their 2025 tour at the Astro in La Vista, Nebraska, in support of their 2024 album, Model, and they definitely hit a high note. Fans lined up for merch (they must have sold a ton) as opener Deb Never played a very earnest set. I found Deb and crew to be a great opening act to set the tone for the evening.

Dylan Minnette had the crowd in his hand as the band scotched thought songs from their whole catalogue. Audience members were dancing, shooting videos, and some were even crying as Dylan jumped the barrier and got up close and personal with them. Cole Preston on the drums brought a lot of energy to the set, and Braeden Lemastets really got the crowd engaged with every song he sang.

Overall, I thought the band sounded great, and they definitely knew where they were, shouting out Omaha maybe 5 times during the show. They seemed to really care for and appreciate their fans, so call me one! Also, shout out to the lighting guy, he made it very easy to capture some cool textures while shooting photos of the show!
