Saturday night August 17th was definitely a night to remember, because the freaks came out to play at The Waiting Room Lounge! The main area was set up like an old circus sideshow stage, complete with fire, smoke, and circus accessories.
Ringleader Bryce Graves, started the show and was accompanied to the stage by his entourage, which included Eric Ross, Short E. Dangerously, Willow Lauren, and the world famous Lizard Man. Together, the group is known as Hellzapoppin Circus Sideshow. Spectators oohed and awed as the human oddities performed a wide variety of death-defying stunts that included fire breathing, acrobatics, glass and razor blade eating, sword swallowing, and other illusions and dangerous stunts. Backed by the music of Bob Dylan, Snoop Dogg, Motörhead, Slayer, Marilyn Manson, Slipknot, Rammstein, and a slew of others, the show was heart-pumping and fast-paced. Despite all of the dangerous stunts, these performers displayed almost superhero-like powers by remaining unscathed with no injuries and no blood. If you get the chance to witness the Hellzapoppin spectacle, the show is worth the price of admission, and then some!
