MAHA FESTIVAL IS CANCELED FOR 2020

BUT WILL RETURN IN 2021

Usually this time of year is spent gearing up to blast the Maha Festival lineup out into the world. Sadly, this year is different. Today they’re sharing the news that the organizer have to cancel Maha Festival 2020 as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

“But Maha is not until August! Won’t everything be back to normal by then?,” you may ask.

They sure hope so! But right now there’s no solid evidence that will be the case, and they can’t take the risk of having to cancel later on in the season. If they did that, they’d be risking the ability to hold the festival at all in the future. They think you’ll agree that taking a year off is much better than going away. MAHA WILL BE BACK IN 2021!

Note: Omaha Lit Fest, originally happening in conjunction with Maha Festival 2020, still plans to take place this August 5-6. Watch the OLF page for the latest updates.

Until then, let’s continue to work together to flatten this curve, support their community however they can, and stay positive. Keep looking ahead to those fun-filled days under the sun that will be here soon enough. Please stay safe out there!
