American rock band Pixies will headline the return of the Maha Music Festival in Omaha this summer.
Pixies will be one of six artists that will perform at the music festival, which is scheduled for Aug. 2 at Heartland of America Park in downtown Omaha. Other artists scheduled to perform are Little Brazil, Silversun Pickups, Magdalena Bay, Waxahatchee and Band of Horses.

This summer’s Maha festival will happen after a one-year hiatus. Before the hiatus, the festival had been held in Aksarben Village since 2011. Prior to the move to Aksarben Village, the music festival had been held near the Missouri River until the 2011 floods caused organizers to move it to Aksarben.
