Organizers announced that the 2022 event has been set for Friday and Saturday, July 29-30 at Aksarben Village. The 14th annual Maha Festival, featuring 15 artists, including indie rock band Car Seat Headrest and several Omaha-based acts.
The Maha Festival is a non-profit, volunteer event featuring some music acts each year. Six of the 15 artists scheduled for Maha are from Omaha. Omaha-based acts will also be performing at the two-day festival. They include Marcey Yates, The Real Zebos, Dominique Morgan, Las Cruxes, Bad Self Portraits, and DJ Shor-T. Friday night’s headliner will be Car Seat Headrest with Princess Nokia and Beach House closing the Festival on Saturday night. Also featured trough-out the festival will be local comedians and an annual youth poetry festival/competition called Louder Than A Bomb.
