Killer Queen Kicked off their spring US tour on Leap Day in Kansas! They played to a sold-out Stiefel Theatre in Salina.

I had the pleasure of interviewing lead singer and Freddie Mercury stand-in, Patrick Myers a few weeks before the show. We had discussed how he got his start singing as Mercury, and it was cool to finally see him in action. He perfectly embodied him and his famous crowd interactions.

This show was packed with back-to-back hits, keeping the crowd sucked in. Concertgoers young and old were dancing and shouting along to all of their favorites. Every song on the set list was met with cheerful uproar and hands in the air. One member of the crowd noted how great Myers’s voice was, and how the band didn’t miss a beat, playing all of Queen’s best hits.

Killer Queen always brings a packed house to every city they visit, and it’s easy to see why. Make sure you catch them this spring in a city near you. You won’t want to miss them. Don’t forget to bring your dancing shoes!
