Grammy-winning band Halestorm today premiered a video for “Do Not Disturb,” the second single from their fourth album, Vicious, which debuted at #1 on the Top Rock Albums and Hard Music Albums Charts (#8 on the Billboard 200).
The video, directed by Roboshobo (Ghost’s “Rats” video), is available for viewing below:
And Vicious is available for streaming and download HERE.
“’Do Not Disturb’ is based off a true story of mine about a very fun night I had overseas that all started with the pickup line, ‘I think we should make out,’” said frontwoman Lzzy Hale. “And since it’s October… the boys and I decided to spooky-up the story with a few…minor exaggerations.”
Called “a steamy, heavy barn burner” by Rolling Stone, “Do Not Disturb” follows the first single from Vicious, “Uncomfortable,” which reached #1 on the Mainstream Rock Chart, Halestorm’s fourth, tying them with The Pretty Reckless for the most #1s by a woman or woman-led act.
Currently on tour in Europe, Halestorm will bring the third and final leg of their all female-fronted tour with In This Moment and New Years Day back to the US next month.
What press is saying about Vicious:
“Lzzy Hale cements her status as one of hard rock’s most vital voices on this muscular, adventurous and especially relevant rock record, which dispels the notion that the genre is on life support.” —Rolling Stone
“Powerful sonic blasts and metaphorical fists of tough, lightning-fast rock ‘n’ roll.” –Associated Press
“[‘Uncomfortable’] shreds, stabs and soars into a new territory of aggression, living up to its title and promising something sinister from the album it teased.” –Grammy.com
“Chock full of larger-than-life guitar riffs, hard-driving drums and powerhouse vocals, Viciousdoes what it says — attacking whatever stands in the way of these outspoken melodic metal masters.” —Parade
“12 razor-sharp, arena-ready anthems that rank among the group’s boldest material yet, both musically…and lyrically” —Revolver
“an uncompromising, hard-hitting album with lyrics that exude equal parts empowerment and sexuality.” —Consequence of Sound
“Lzzy’s vocals really dazzle on this one. The frontwoman’s ferocity seems to embody the vocal stylings of metal legends like Ronnie James Dio and Lemmy from Motorhead only with her truly distinct Halestorm touch.” –Associated Press
“An unapologetically provocative track, ‘Do Not Disturb’ features heavy instrumentals in collaboration with unwavering vocals backed by confidence and power.” —Alternative Press
“From the crushing, anthemic opener, ‘Black Vultures,’ to the soaring ‘Killing Ourselves to Live’ to the throttling first single, ‘Uncomfortable’…Vicious sounds like a band revitalized…” —Guitar World
“Boisterous, seductive, and darkly funny all at once, [Lzzy’s] alto swoops from seething to soaring.” —Loudwire
