“Wrestling is one of the last truly rebellious American things left.” -Billy Corgan-
From the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska the WWE and it’s Smackdown squad put on a non-stop, action packed show. From start to end the entertainment and fun never stopped. The card was jam-packed with superstars and each match showcased astounding athleticism. The Bar overpowered The Usos and New Day in a Triple Threat Tag-team match, Lana & Naomi took care of Sony Deville & Mandy Rose, Jeff Hardy called out then handled Samoa Joe, Andrade won his bout over R-Truth, and Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson & Shelton Benjamin were victorious over Aiden English & Sanity. There were three championship contests as well. The WWE United States Championship was on line as Rusev conquered Shinsuke Nakamara and for the WWE Championship Daniel Bryan retained the title when he pinned A.J.Styles. The main event of the evening saw another Triple Threat Match as Asuka defended her Women’s title against Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. After several close calls, Asuka was able to maintain her hold on the belt and leave a victor.
If you ever get a chance and just simply want to be entertained, then please check out a WWE event when one comes near you. They really do put on a great show and don’t spare the production values.
