During the first weekend in October, 2019, the CHI Health Center Omaha played host to the Monster Jam Arena Championship Series. Monster Jam held three separate events over the weekend, and the following results are from the Saturday afternoon show.
Show hosts, John Saponaro and Abby Baltezar, welcomed the crowd to the Monster Jam, and the show kicked off with a salute to America and our military with the singing of the national anthem. The event had four different competitions, each with points awarded to the winners. The person with the most points at the end of the event would be declared the winner. The categories for the event were Racing, 2-Wheel Skills Challenge, Donuts, and Freestyle. There were a total of six competitors including: Grave Digger (Tyler Menninga), Scooby-Doo! (Myranda Cozad), Jailbird (Kaylyn Migues), Hurrican Force (Stephen Thompson), Nitro Menace (Darren Migues), and Storm Damage (Richie Yatsko). After all four categories were over, the winner was Tyler Menninga and his monster truck Grave Digger. Menninga won with a clean sweep of all four categories. Congratulations to Tyler for winning the first Monster Jam Overall Event Championship!
