“Believe it or not, I’m walking on air” – from the theme song to Greatest American Hero
A jovial mass congregated at the CHI Health Center on Friday, November 30th “informally” kicking-off winter in Omaha, Nebraska. The cast of Cirque Musica, together with the Omaha Symphony Orchestra conducted by Thomas Wilkins, treated us all to some astounding if not death-defying performances. The show was crammed full of breathtaking beauty and sidesplitting hijinks. The arena was endlessly full of gasps, ooo’s and ahh’s as well as thunderous ovations. The costumes were exquisite, and the production values were stunning. The choreography was flawless and the harmonization of the troupe’s movements to the music was textbook. This was an edge of your seat event to say the least. This happening was a true family affair. From back row to front row and from aisle to aisle you could see endless smiles and wide-eyed looks of disbelieve and anticipation. I’m pretty sure there wasn’t a better way to spend that Friday evening in Omaha.
